Designed by the noteworthy architect Hal Purdy, Weequahic Park Golf Course is a regulation public golf course constructed on rolling terrain, with elevated greens. It sits on about 5,600 yards, just north of downtown Newark, and a few blocks west of Independence Park. The challenging course has sand bunkers on nearly every hole, as well as the notorious hole #13, a tough par 4 requiring a tee shot up a dogleg fairway.
